They are provided in .ZIP packages (separate for each language), which, when unpacked contain 1 or more .CSV files and .TXT files with description of what’s changed since recent release.

Microsoft Glossaries are stored in CSV (Comma Separated Values) format. Their format is often very uneven, therefore during development of WinLexic we had to solve many problems normalizing their format for comfortable user-friendly display.

Each glossary includes Source Term, String Category, Platform, and Product columns. Other columns, such as source hotkey, target hotkey, or product version may be included as well. Below are the meanings of String Category abbreviations provided by Microsoft® (they are automatically parsed by WinLexic during display).
